The global incidence of dengue has grown dramatically in recent decades. Prompted by concern over the increasing dengue incidence in NSSPL territory and the presence of other arboviral infections Team NSSPL took the minimum initiative to make aware, promote and demonstrate the preventive measures across the subdivision of Bongaon in North 24 Parganas on last day. Reaching across the nooks and corners of the locality prone to this mosquito borne tropical disease, the team, with necessary protection, applied the antidotes to the appreciation of the communities. Branded van highlighting the Do's and Don't's on the prevention will be moving around the sub-divisions for next few days. Audio announcements and handbill distribution among the people will accompany. Many inquired with our team on our further initiatives to curb this menace. People also requested to extend our initiative to their suggested locations. Overall appreciations made the day for our team, who also expressed their satisfaction in getting involved with such initiative.
